Abstract

The article critiques the state of primary healthcare accessibility in New York under Governor Hochul's leadership. Topics include the ongoing shortage of primary care providers in New York, the failure of recent policy measures such as waiving practice requirements for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to effectively address this shortage, and the unmet promises of a transformative healthcare era, as envisioned by Governor Hochul.
