Description

The Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate Studies in collaboration with the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Nassau County Planning Commission and the Institute of Real Estate @ Hofstra University hosted a free Land Use Training Program for Municipal Planning and Zoning Officials in the Multipurpose Room, Sondra and Davis S. Mack Student Center. The program provided 3.5 CLE credits in Areas of Professional Practice and 1 CLE legal ethics credit for non-transitional attorneys and AICP Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for planners. The course is intended to fulfill the New York State training requirement for municipal planning and zoning officials. Two one-hour and one two-hour presentations were delivered; Mark Lesko, Executive Dean of the Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate Studies, Martha Krisel, President, Nassau County Bar Association and Deputy County Attorney, Nassau County and Ashira Ostrow, Associate Dean for Reaserach and Faculty Development and Professor of Law, Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University participated as Moderators/Commentators.
